Jessica Lozoya

      Jessica Lozoya started in photography as a high school freshman at the Palm Beach County School of the Arts. During her time there she also studied drawing, painting, sculpture, and print -making. Jessica won many awards in these areas, but it was her recognition in photography that led to commercial jobs. She first began photographing portfolios for actors and models in addition to the documentation of fellow artist’s work.  She photographed her first wedding at the tender age of 16, knew it was what she wanted to do and continues to specialize in weddings to this day. While still in high school, Jessica had her photography exhibited at the prestigious Norton Gallery of Art in West Palm Beach.

Mrs. Lozoya is a graduate of Oklahoma State University (OSU) with a degree in Photography Technology. Jessica was the first active OSU student to ever earn print merits from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and is also the first graduate of the program to receive a PPA Masters of Photography degree. While in Oklahoma, Jessica received numerous awards included: Best of Shows, Kodak Gallery and Fuji Masterpiece awards.

In 2000 she moved to New Mexico and has continued to win additional Kodak and Fuji awards. She is a Past President of the Professional Photographers Association of New Mexico where she also serves as the state's representative for the American Society of Photographers. Her artwork has been exhibited in museums internationally. When she is not working in the studio she can be found lecturing to professional photographers in the US and Mexico.
